1911 Stoddard Dayton Commercial Wagon
1911 Stoddard Dayton Commercial Wagon. This is a wonderful example of a rarely seen model. Previously recognized by this club as a Century Old Vehicle, it has been in private collection for many years
Photos are recent.
- This 110 yr old runs smoothly with no carrying on, funny noises or smoke
- Clutch is good
- Brakes are ... well as good as they were in 1911
A great addition to a Brass-Era Collection. The goal of this model was the flexibility to use it all week long on the farm as a wagon, or what we consider a truck. Then by simply removing the sideboards, and placing the rear seat in place, you could take the family into town or to Church on Sunday
This is a great vehicle to tour or show

1912 Cartercar Model "R" Roadster
Only three examples of this rare 1912 Cartercar Model "R" roadster have survived the last 109yrs...and this is the only true authentic Model "R", in the world. It's two year 100pt Concours and extremely correct restoration was completed this month. It's original parts and exacting details make it a rare "Gas Light Era" classic, far better than when it left the factory, which still stands in Pontiac, Michigan today.
What a terrific addition to any serious collection. The clever "Friction-Drive" transmission was invented by Byron Carter in 1906 and works as smoothly as the day it was delivered.
The Devil is in the Details...check the photo's carefully and you'll see what a pristine, honest restoration looks like. None better. Asking $195,000 obo
